Eur/usd - 1.2491...ECB board member Smaghi was quoted in a newspaper interview as saying that it is possible for eurozone rates to fall further n that the central bank does not anticipate a deflationary process will occur. Bids fm various accounts (incl. Asian CBs n European corporations) are noted at 1.2450/60 n further out at 1.2390/00 while offers are lined up in the region of 1.2530-1.2550 n 1.2620 as previously mentioned...
