A state tax credit valued at $7.8 million over 10 years will boost a CareTech Solutions Inc. project in Troy. The $28 million project is expected to create 440 jobs with the company, which provides information technology services to the health care industry.

Pulte Homes Inc. plans a $10 million expansion in Oakland County that could create up to 350 jobs with the company over several years. State officials approved a tax credit worth more than $10 million over 12 years to aid the project by the Bloomfield Hills company, one of the nation's largest home building companies with operations in 50 markets and 27 states.

Other incentives announced by Gov. Jennifer Granholm and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. on Monday assist CAU Acquistion Co. in Ithaca, EPC-Columbia Inc. in St. Clair, ESI North America Inc. in Bloomfield Hills, Carlton Creek Ironworks in Rothbury and Howa USA Holdings Inc. in Novi.

Aid for brownfield redevelopment projects also were approved for Detroit's Connor Creek Village Development, Sturgis' Kirsch Industrial Park, Saginaw's Rifkin Scrap Iron and Metal site, and Wyoming's Morrison Investment Group site.
