Petrobras may rise weight by 3.2 percent on Bovespa index

Petroeo Brasileiro SA's (NYSE : PZE) (SA : PETR3) shares may rise 3.2 percent in value on the Bovespa index, to 19 percent, compared with the current 15.8 percent on Monday.

From January, the state-controlled oil company will have its preferred shares, with its weight rising to 16.4 percent from 13.5 percent, and its common shares will increase 2 percent, according to data from the biggest Latin stock exchange, BM&Fbovespa (SAO : BVMF3)

Petrobras's shares increasing weight will represent the biggest absolute gain in Brazilian stocks index for the coming year.

Worlds biggest eucalyptus-pulp producer, Aracruz Celulose SA's (SAO : ARCZ6), (NYSE : ARA) will see it's share performing the biggest gain, surpassing its current weight more than three times.
