Bristol Palin's soon-to-be mother in law gets drug charges

Sherry Johnston, who will soon-be grandmother the grandmother Brisol Palin's son, was charged with six felony drug counts on Thursday.

Palin is the daughter of Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

Johnston is the mother of Bristol's fiancée Levi Johnston, 18.

Sherry Johnston was released on $5,000 bail, according to the Anchorage Daily News.

She was arrested Thursday after police served a search warrant on her Wasila, Alaska home.

The drug involved was not mentioned on the Alaska state troopers' website.
