Golden Globes Red Carpet: Best Dressed

12 January 2009 @ 12:26 pm ET

Hollywood's hottest stars arrived at the Golden Globes ready to rock the red carpet and outshine one another at the Foreign Press' big event.

It's not only Kate Winslet's night after winning the awards, her fashion sense is finely tuned for the occasion too, looking gorgeous, elegant, and classic in black, strapless Yves St. Laurent and this sleek satin number is as pleasing to our eyes as David Beckham sans a shirt.

Demi Moore in Dior: I've never seen her look better--the criss-cross neutral halter, the serious jewels, and the silver clutch. Demi's Hollywood royalty and she definitely dress the part.

Angelina Jolie, who dazzled in a sparkly Atelier Versace gown. The Changaling actress paired her dress with Jimmy Choo Satin Sandals and accessorised with platinum jewels by Neil Lane. The look created by style genius Jennifer Rade, was a real hit on the red carpet.

She's one of the only starlets who chose a cocktail-length dress for the awards show. She's pretty petite, so a floor length gown would swallow her up way to know what works for you.

Cameron Diaz who glowed in a Chanel Haute Couture dress. The bright pink taffeta dress was accessorised with a clutch bag and jewellery also by Chanel. Cameron's LA tan, honey blonde hair and bright blue eyes really set this dress off.

The colour and style of the dress make a statement, which means Cameron's flowing curls and red lip add a minimal touch of elegance and the killer arms.

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dark Knight Actress looked fantastic in a turquoise cat-paw print gown by Larvin. Teamed with a simple clutch bag and demure heels, also by Larvin, the dress really suited her glowing complexion.

Jennifer Lopez, The singer showed off her tiny waist in a sparkling backless Marchesa gown. After giving birth to twins last year, the Latino diva has worked hard to get back into shape and has since completed a triathlon.
