The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' late-season collapse after a 9-and-3 start has cost Coach Jon Gruden his job. The Buccaneers dismissed Jon Gruden and their general manager Bruce Allen.

Buccaneers promoted former DB coach/defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to head coach on Friday.
Gruden was a rising star when he was hired seven years ago to get a team built by Tony Dungy to the Super Bowl. But Gruden only guided the Bucs to the postseason twice after becoming the youngest coach to win the NFL title in January 2003.
Gruden was the eighth coach to be fired, and Mike Holmgren and Tony Dungy retired from Seattle and Indianapolis, respectively.
Raheem Morris is expected to be named the new coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday. The 32-year-old Morris had been the Bucs' secondary coach the past two seasons and was promoted to defensive coordinator last month after Monte Kiffin left for the University of Tennessee.
It was a bit of a surprise move, but with the way the Bucs collapsed down the stretch this year, it's not completely unwarranted.
