New Rubik's 360, is not a cube. Two-time British Cube-solving champion Dan Harris, 24, from Gorleston, Norfolk, has tested Rubik's 360 on the Sunday Telegraph.
According to the reports, the device is about to be officially unveiled in on February 5th at a national toy show. It's the next version of the popular cube puzzle that is a sphere.
The main difference is the absence of mathematics. "It looks like more of a physical game that requires, no math, whereas the Cube is something to ponder but there's no reason it can't catch on.
The gadget has six balls trapped inside transparent plastic spheres. To solve it, you have to figure out how to get the internal balls "from an inner sphere into matching slots on the outer sphere by shaking them through a middle sphere that has only two holes."
