Barcelona beat Manchester United 2-0 in the final to win the UEFA Champions League trophy on Wednesday with goals from Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi.

Barcelona player, Thierry Henry, missed out on the European Cup with Arsenal when Barcelona beat them in the 2006 final, but he was excited now to have contributed to winning the title three seasons later.
"I've been waiting so long to get this title and finally today," Henry told ITV. "The last five minutes were the longest of my life. You never know what can happen - we were playing against best team in the world.
"It's amazing. All year we played the same way, we wanted to play football. I don't think we started well. We had to play better, then we passed the ball the way we can.
This was the third time Barcelona won the cup after winning in 1992 and 2006. Manchester United, meanwhile, lost for the first time in 26 Champions League matches and failed to defend its 2008 title.
"I've not seen a team play like that for years and years and it is so good to see," said Chris Waddle, a BBC Radio commentator.
"United were sloppy all night. They came into the match having all had 11 days off and they didn't look like a team at all. They'd have been better off to have kept playing in that time," Waddle noted.
