USA beats Spain 2:0

The U.S. team beat Spain 2:0 and made its way to the final of the Confederations cup.

Goals by Jozy Altidore in the first half and Clint Dempsey in the second half earned U.S. Coach Bob Bradley's squad a place in Sunday's final, where it will play the winner of Thursday's semifinal between Brazil and South Africa

Spain’s first ever loss to the U.S. ended its record 15- match winning streak and means it will have to share with Brazil the record of 35 straight games unbeaten.

The U.S. team was ranked 14th by FIFA.
