Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will meet Royal Dutch Shell's CEO Jeroen van der Veer on Saturday to discuss possibilities for the company's expansion in Russia, Putin's spokesman said on Friday.

Shell's Chief Executive Officer Jeroen van der Veer speaks during the presentation of Shell's fourth-quarter and 2008 results in the Hague January 29, 2009. Royal Dutch Shell reported a big drop in fourth-quarter next profits and missed analysts' forecasts, but the oil major eased investor fears about cashflows by raising its dividend while lifting planned investments.
