The 2009 British Open Championship is underway at the  at the Turnberry Golf Course in South Ayrshire, Scotland.

The top three positions on the leader board are currently being filled by American golfers.

Steve Marino is number one followed by Tom Watson and  Mark Calcavecchia in second and third position respectively.

Meanwhile fan favorite Tiger Woods is finding himself somewhere in the middle of the board.
