Following are the top 10 films at the North American box office for the three-day weekend beginning on July 31, led by the new comedy "Funny People," according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by Reuters.

"The Ugly Truth" was released by Columbia Pictures, a unit of Sony Corp.

"Aliens in the Attic" and "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" were released by 20th Century Fox, a unit of News Corp.

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was released by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc.
