Philadelphia Eagles Stewart Bradley suffers knee injury

According to ESPN 950 radio station in Philadelphia, Bradley suffered the injury in the Eagles' Sunday night practice but was able to walk off the field after tackling another player.

Bradley was examined briefly by trainer Rick Burkholder and a team physician before being taken off the field. A Philadelphia Eagles spokesman said Bradley will undergo an MRI later today in Bethlehem, Pa.

Bradley, considered one of the top young middle linebackers in the NFL, had 151 tackles in his first full season as a starter last year. He's the primary signal caller on a defense that already lost veteran safety Brian Dawkins in free agency.

Bradley's backup, Omar Gaither, is experienced and spent the entire 2007 season starting at middle linebacker and led the Eagles with 170 tackles.
