Wall St stumbles after strong rally

U.S. stocks extended losses on Friday, the day after logging their best gains in three months, as sectors that have led the rally pulled back.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 91.29 points, or 0.92 percent, to 9,871.29. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> lost 10.37 points, or 0.97 percent, to 1,055.74. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> gave up 15.16 points, or 0.72 percent, at 2,082.39.
