Elizabeth Lambert violent plays uncovered in footage (video)

University of New Mexico women's soccer player Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely after a series of un-sportsman like events at a match against Brigham Young University last week, the team´s head coach Kit Vela announced Friday .

Video footage of the match shows defender Lambert engaging in extreme rough plays with her opponents. In one of the images captured she kicks the ball into the face of a player and punches another on the side of the head.

"I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful for my actions," Lambert said according to ESPN.
