Beazer flips to fourth quarter profit

Beazer Homes USA Inc on Tuesday posted a profit in the fiscal fourth quarter and said the sluggish market conditions moderated during the quarter.

The Atlanta-based builder reported a profit from continuing operations of $35.3 million, or 87 cents per share, compared with a year-earlier loss of $453.8 million, or $11.77 per share.
