I have an email out to the originator of this list, Eddy Elfenbein of Crossing Wall Street, to see if any parameters/exclusions were used, however despite a lost decade in the stock market for the casual investor [Feb 5, 2009: Mutual Funds Have Tough Decade] [Mar 26, 2008 - WSJ: Stocks Tarnished by Lost Decade] [Oct 7, 2008: Bloomberg - 2000s Stock Market Worse than 1930s], there were some massive individual winners. We've owned a handful of these names from time to time the past few years: QSII, XTO, AFAM, FCN, GROW but certainly only garnered a fraction of these decade long gains.
