Forex: USD/CAD trades above 1.0600 and reaches 1-week high at 1.0635

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Dollar has extended its advance against the Canadian from yesterday low at 1.0450 and, after rising around 225 pips to break MA55 hourly at 1.0500 and MA200 at 1.0530, USD/CAD has trading higher today European session to jump above 1.0600 and hit fresh 1-week high at 1.0635.

Currently the pair is trading around 1.0625/35, 0.75% above today's opening price action at 1.0545.

US/D/CAD is trading above Nov 17 high at 1.0620 and, after an slight consolidation to 1.0690, pair has resumed its uptrend to reach 1.0635 as fresh highest level since Nov 9.
