SwissINSO Holding Inc. (SWHN.OB), formerly PASH.OB, recently announced the company’s reincorporation in Delaware on October 28, 2009, and new name change that reflects the previously disclosed acquisition of SwissINSO SA. This acquisition was completed on October 19, 2009. Effective immediately, SwissINSO is trading under the ticker symbol SWHN and CUSIP number 87101R105.
Formed in 2006 and located in Lausanne, Switzerland, SwissINSO Holdings Inc. utilizes the company’s significant intellectual property assets to provide environmentally friendly solar energy solutions and related technology to meet growing global needs. The company’s goal is to become a world leader in turn-key solutions using renewable energy for the purification and desalination of water and the air cooling of buildings.
Dr. Yves Ducommun, chief executive officer of SwissINSO Holdings Inc., stated, “This change to the company’s profile was the final step in the process of SwissINSO becoming a public entity.” Dr. Ducommun continued, “Changing the name of the holding company to SwissINSO Holding Inc. makes its relationship with its acquired SwissINSO SA subsidiary clear to both our customers and shareholders.
