UK house prices rose at quickest rate since 2002

The Acadametrics Ltd. said that the United Kingdom house prices in February climbed at the quickest rate since September 2002, average cost of a house in Wales and England rose 1.9% from January to 222,008 pounds. The values of the homes are 4% lower their highest prices which were in February 2008.

The group also stated that transactions in January fell 52% from December to 36,000, which marked the lowest in 11 months.
