Bank of Korea keeps the rate steady

The Bank of Korea decided today to keep the interest rate steady at 3.25% for the sixth straight month in line with the expectations, as the downside risks from the EU debt crisis negative effect in addition to the slowing growth forced the Korean authorities to maintain the interest rate at the current level in order to support the nation's economic growth.
