Apart from Apple Inc.'s iPhone 5, the most awaited Android Smartphones are the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Motorola Droid Bionic. The much-awaited Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S2 smartphone has made it to the United States, quelling anticipation, and is set to compete with Motorola Droid Bionic for the market share.
Galaxy S2 comes to the U.S. after selling a record 5 million units in 85 days in Europe and Asia and is the best-selling Samsung phone ever. In the U.S., Galaxy S2 would be carried by AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, whose version would be called Samsung Epic 4G Touch.
Galaxy S2 is expected to come to Sprint's network on Sept. 16 and would be launched on AT&T from Sept. 18.
In what seems to be a twist in the tale, Verizon is not offering Samsung Galaxy S2, effectively making Motorola Droid Bionic the ultimate phone to receive all the attention in the days to come.
The launch of the Motorola Droid Bionic is finally drawing near after several postponements and numerous leaks about the device. Verizon Wireless confirmed on its Twitter page that the new beast of the Motorola Android phone will be unleashed on Sept. 8, as previously rumored by numerous sources. However, it was denied by Motorola later.

No official specs have been confirmed yet for the Motorola Droid Bionic but after constant leaks there’s a widespread belief about what’s coming.
The Motorola Droid Bionic is powered by Android 2.3 and it looks similar to Droid X2, which is another dual core smartphone without 4G support. Droid Bionic has a huge battery power, 4G LTE and aqHD display of 4.3 inch 540x960 pixels TFT capacitive touch screen.
Galaxy S2, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and sports Samsung's TouchWiz UI, comes with an 8-megapixel camera with flash and can record HD video in 1080p offering the richest video content on a smartphone. The phone also has the front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chat.
Both Android devices from Samsung and Motorola are offering quite a blazing performance at the hand of dual-core processing power. But, there still could be a thing or two that would make you choose one over the other.

Operating system: The latest Android OS version 2.3 Gingerbread will be available in both the smartphones.
Processor: Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 Mali-400MP GPU Exynos processor with 1GB RAM. Droid Bionic will come with 1 GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor.
Display: T-Mobile and Epic Touch 4G version of Sprint has 4.52-inch display screen whereas AT&T version retains 4.3-inch screen of original Galaxy S2 version sold worldwide. Motorola Droid Bionic will come with 4.3-inch 540 x 960 pixels TFT capacitive touch screen.
