For the first time ever in the history of the Miss Universe pageant, fans in represented countries were allowed to vote online for their favorite contestant for an automatic spot into the semifinals at the 2011 Miss Universe competition.

Miss USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella, has been voted one of the top ten contestants in the fans vote category. Will the crown be hers at the finale?

As Miss Universe 2011 competition is all set to begin at the Credicard Hall in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, here’s a look at the Miss USAs who won the coveted Miss Universe title in the past.
