Police arrested Steven Powell, the father-in-law of missing Utah mom Susan Powell, on Thursday on a warrant charging him with voyeurism and child pornography.

Steven Powell, 61, who has recently claimed in interviews that he had sexual interactions with his daughter-in-law before her disappearance, was around 9:30 p.m. at his Puyallup, Wash. Home on 14 counts of voyeurism to include two cases that involve children, and a single count of possession of child pornography, according to The Seattle Times.

That report also noted that police contacted several victims who have said they never gave Steven Powell permission and were unaware they were being photographed and videotaped in the privacy of their homes.

Steven Powell is expected to be arraigned on Friday.

Officials told The Seattle Times that the charges are Class C felonies, and if there is conviction it normally brings a five-year sentence.

Prosecutor Mark Lindquist told The Associated Press that police found thousands of images of females being videotaped without their knowledge, including Susan Powell, on tapes and discs taken from the 61-year-old's home during a search on Aug. 25.

The photographer focuses on the women's buttocks, breasts, Lindquist has said in a statement. Many images were of minor females.

Among the images were photographs of two girls who were as young as 8 and 10 years old at the time, the prosecutor told The AP.

Steven Powell is the father of Josh Powell, who is the husband of Susan Powell. Josh Powell is also the only named person of interest in his wife's disappearance though he has never been arrested or charged in the case.
