Since its release in May, Nicki Minaj's Super Bass has topped music charts, pleased critics and sold more than two million digital copies in the U.S.

Now, a little girl in a princess costume has covered the chart-topping song, in her own royal way.

While the video, hailing from the UK, probably won't attract as many viewers as the original, the YouTube performance has gained more than 30,000 hits since it was posted two weeks ago (Minaj's music video has raked in some 151 million viewers since its May release).

In the video, the young performer, Sophia Grace Brownlee, appears alongside her friend Rosie, who serves as a backup dancer and lip syncs her way to the end of the performance.

The chorus is powerful, the verses are just as fast as Minaj's and the attitude is on at full steam.

Minaj, 28, is riding high on the success of her debut album, Pink Friday, which was released in November 2010. To date, the album has sold more than 1.5 million copies in the U.S.
