The search for missing baby Lisa Irwin has come to the direct attention of sports fans, specifically NASCAR fans.

Baby Lisa's aunt, Ashley Irwin, handed out thousands of flyers Sunday in a parking lot at Kansas Speedway during a NASCAR Sprint Cup race, hoping to spur efforts to locate the child. She's been working to raise awareness nationwide about her niece's disappearance and says she wants to get the message to the 80,000 fans attending Sunday's race.

Ten-month-old Lisa Irwin hasn't been seen in nearly a week. Her parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley, reported her missing Tuesday, saying she had been mysteriously snatched from their Kansas City home sometime overnight.

Bradley, who was the last person to see baby Lisa, has said she checked on her daughter around 10:30 p.m. on Monday. Irwin, an electrician, said he discovered the child missing around 4 a.m. on Tuesday when he got home from working a late-night shift, prompting a frantic search of their home. All they discovered, however, was that many of the home's lights were on, a window was open and the front door was unlocked. The couple later said three cellphones also were missing, which police said produced no solid leads.

Investigators have said they also have no solid leads or suspects after an extensive search that included the family's neighborhood, nearby woods and a landfill. Bradley and Irwin announced Saturday they were organizing a reward, hoping it would lead to new information, and that they'd be doing less media interviews.

Nevertheless, police started investigating two new leads on Saturday.

Policed questioned a teenage neighbor of Bradley and Irwin on Friday. Forensic experts took a DNA sample, a source told ABC News. Authorities say the neighbor was at the Irwin home the day baby Lisa vanished. The neighbor also allegedly knew the access code to the family's garage.

Authorities are also investigating reports from the west coast of a couple seen with a small child fitting Lisa's description of white with blond hair and blue eyes, about 30 inches tall and weighing 26-30 pounds, ABC News reported.

Ashley Irwin's move at Kansas Speedway, could lead her and others to do the same thing at other Kansas City and nearby Missouri sports venues, such as the Kansas City Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium or the Missouri Tigers' football stadium Faurot Field.
