The National Gallery in London will showcase some of the most important artworks of the Italian Renaissance polymath, Leonardo da Vinci, starting Wednesday.

Titled "Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan," the exhibition is a complete display of rare paintings of the diversely talented painter. The exhibition particularly focuses on the work produced by him as a court painter to Duke Lodovico Sforza in Milan in the late 1480s and 1490s.
Highlights of the event include "La Belle Ferronière" (Musée du Louvre, Paris), the "Madonna Litta" (Hermitage, St. Petersburg) and "Saint Jerome" (Pinacoteca Vaticana, Rome). Apart from this, the two versions of Leonardo's "Virgin of the Rocks," belonging to the National Gallery and the Louvre, will also be shown together for the first time.

The National Gallery mentions that the final part of the exhibition features a near-contemporary, full-scale copy of Leonardo's famous "Last Supper," on loan from the Royal Academy.
The exhibition will be on until Feb. 5.
