Taylor Swift had quite the night at the CMA Awards on Wednesday, taking home the biggest prize, Entertainer of the Year.

The other big news out of Swift's night was her performance of "Ours," rumored to be the 21-year-old's next single.

Following the previously released "Mine," "Back to December," "Mean," "The Story of Us" and "Sparks Fly," "Ours" could be the sixth single off the triple platinum album "Speak Now," released more than one year ago.

"Speak Now," Swift's third studio album, has sold more than 5.5 million copies worldwide.

Released as a bonus track in the "Speak Now" deluxe edition, "Ours" is a toned down, Taylor-and-guitar song about giving love a try, with lyrics like "You'll say don't you worry your pretty little mind / people throw rocks at things that shine / and life makes love look hard / the stakes are high, the water's rough, but this love is ours."

On the CMA Awards, Swift changed out of her gorgeous J. Mendel gown and opted for a cozy pink Ralph Lauren sweater to sing "Ours." The intimate performance unfolded with a living room setting, complete with pillows, a couch and lamp.

Since Wednesday's performance, Swift fans have been exploding with excitement on Twitter.

"Can't stop watching taylor swifts performance last night. I love #ours <3 congratulatiosn on entertainer of the year!:)" wrote one fan.

"Watching @taylorsrwift13's performance of #Ours from last night. I want to slow it down and have it playing all day/night," wrote another.

Swift, who was nominated for five CMA Awards on Wednesday, giggled with excitement when she was presented with Entertainer of the Year by country legend Reba McEntire. This is the second time Swift has won the grand title (her first win was back in 2009).

"I'm so happy right now . . . thanks to all the fans who filled up those stadiums and arenas all over the world this year. Thank you so much! This is amazing, oh my gosh," Swift said on stage, before reading off a list of names written on her arm.

The names were the artists that appeared at several of Swift's live shows all over the world (Justin Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres, Usher, Tim McGraw, just to name a few).

Following the CMA Awards, Swift took to Twitter to write to her fans.

"Headed home feeling so grateful and happy and just... Thank you. To the fans who have made this year so wonderful, I just adore you," she wrote.
