The woman behind that voice is Carolyn Hopkins, 63, from northern Maine.
CBS News interviewed Hopkins whose voice can be heard in 200 airports around the world, some of them places she has never been.
"Traveling can be such a bummer nowadays that people need a friendly voice," Hopkins told CBS.
