All types of people are getting in on Ukranian real estate -- even Star Wars villain Darth Vader.

A local man, fully dressed in the all-black costume of the famed movie character, filed paperwork for a land plot in the country's seaside city of Odessa, claiming he wanted it to park his spaceship, according to Reuters.

City authorities are reportedly giving land plots along the Black Sea coast in the area for free to five Ukranians, Agence France-Presse reported, citing a Ukranian Web site.

I am Darth Vader, the right hand of Emperor Palpatine, the local told a policeman.

The man removed his helmet at one point during the application process and waited while paperwork was stamped.

The application has been registered and will be considered, a spokeswoman in the mayor's office told Reuters. We are not on the dark side, we are light-side people.

This is not Darth Vader's only appearance this year. In September, he threw out the first pitch at a baseball game between the Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers. Star Wars was the theme of the night.
