Chris Brown Lost it on "Good Morning America!"

Singer Chris Brown, 22, has deleted his Twitter account after launching a profanity-filled tirade on Nov. 17 against those who continue to link the star to ex-girlfriend Rihanna and still discuss his assault of the R&B goddess in 2009.

Brown subsequently delted his entire Twitter timeline, but not before news sources were able to record some of the more infamous selections from his 140 characters or less commentary.

Chris Brown has become infamous for publicly battling his detractor on his Twitter account, a strategy he often regrets. After years of trying to divorce himself from his assault on Rihanna in 2009, Brown got into numerous online battles with his haters this year. Spats included a heated exchange with singer Raz B of B2K and Frank Ocean of Odd Future, both of whom suffered Chris Brown's rants for harking back to Brown and Rihanna's past.

It would appear that the singer still has many personal demons to conquer however, if his recently posted (and deleted) Twitter rant before the 2011 AMAs is any indication.

Currently, the singer has only two posts on his Twitter feed. One is from a fan back on Sept. 9, 2011, telling the SuperStar to ignore haters and baiters (a message Brown retweeted), and the second is a status from Nov. 15, with the simple words: Live LIFE!

Before Brown deleted his Twitter feed however, the singer's tweets were one long, profanity-laden rant against his detractors, with some of the best recorded before the singer regained his presence of mind. Brown's Twitter rant, triggered by one of his 5.7 million followers bringing up the Rihanna assault, is recorded below.

Brown still hasn't quite grasped that the inanity of Twitter both allows others to post completely inconsequential comments with no repercussions, and allows those who are haters and baiters, as the retweet says, to take down Brown's reactions and keep them alive long after the Twitter timeline is wiped.

Brown's Twitter rant is especially ill-timed following his performance at the American Music Awards. At the 2011 AMAs, Brown made comeback-style waves with his crooning rendition of All Back before performing a hit dance number for club song Say It With Me. Chris Brown's performance reminded American audiences that the singer was still a talented performer... now however, Brown himself has chosen to remind Twitter users that he is also still slightly insane,

Below, here are some of the most infamous comments, including several hilarious jabs and a few tweets the singer is likely to regret long after his refills his Twitter account.

  • On the 2009 assault, which got him five years probation and six months of community service: Don’t say sh*t to anybody and everyone feels its cool to attack me. GROWN ADULTS!!!! That sh*t happened three years ago.
  • On comments that he called himself a legend on Twitter: TWITTER GETS WACK REAL FAST! I LOVE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT MY MUSIC! I never said I was a LEGEND. People please grow up.
  • On Rihanna: I know a lot of you wack a**hole (OLD) celebrities probably wanna f*ck my ex, but talking sh*t on me wont get you far! and to be REALLY HONEST, ya’ll wonder why n***a spazzes all the time?
  • On Twitter commentary: “I've never dealt with so much negativity in my life! It's to the point now that it's just ridiculous!
  • On the 2011 AMAs: “I wake up thinking of living my life..... YOU wake up thinking of me! NOW I REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR THE AMA's! U dont have to respect me now... but u will.”
  • And our personal favorite: I'M NOT A POLITICIAN! MY MUSIC DOESNT PROMOTE VIOLENCE nor will it ever! Only thing it will increase is the pregnancy rate!

With Chris Brown's track record, he's fast joining the ranks of Ashton Kutcher for tech idiocy, and Kanye West for chronic foot-in-mouth syndrome. There are some however, who would defend Brown, saying the singer is responding using the same venue through which he is attacked, and sympathize with his frustration. Still others don't care what he says, as long as he keeps making music.

What do you think? Should Chris Brown delete his Twitter account completely? Should he stand by his comments? Or does his Twitter rant even matter in the long run?
