Tallulah Willis was introduced to high society Saturday night at Le Bal des Debutantes at Paris' Hotel Crillon overlooking Place de la Concorde.

The 17-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore wore a sleeveless black and silver sequined gown by Lanvin for the occasion.

The debutante was joined by her older sisters Rumer, 23, and Scout, 20. Rumer tweeted a picture of the three girls at the ball.

The girls' father, Bruce Willis, 56, also attended the ball to support his daughter.

He was a little different than three years ago [when Scout was a debutante], more reserved, a source at the ball told People Magazine. He was there for his daughter, but protective. It wasn't until around midnight when he danced with Tallulah that you saw him become more relaxed.

He's a dad and he wanted to be certain she felt the evening was for her, the source continued.

Willis is currently expected a child with his second wife, Emma Heming, 33.

The mother of the debutante, however, was mysteriously missing, US Weekly reported.

49-year-old Demi Moore did not attend the ball. Her decision to skip the event may be related to her recent announcement that she is divorcing Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage.

The ball marked the introduction of 23 young women into high society. The women come from 13 different countries and are mostly daughters to actors, businessmen and aristocrats.

This year's ball benefited the FEED Foundation, which helps fight hunger and malnutrition across the world.

Le bal was first launched in 1957, but ended following political events in May 1968. The tradition was re-launched in 1991 and has become one of the top 10 social events in the world, according to Forbes Magazine.

The 2011 ball marks the 19th consecutive year of the event.
