Louis Vuitton Pajamas

Louis Vuitton has done it again. In a nod to unabashed decadence, the French fashion house plans to launch silk leopard pajamas priced somewhere between $960 and $1200.

Talk about sweet dreams. Some can only dream of draping themselves in these plush PJs from the Vuitton Resort 2012 collection.

The silk night garment comes in a deep shade of royal blue with chic leopard print pattern. The tailoring is classic - with a double breasted top and loose trouser bottoms.

Stylist and designer Rachel Zoe has been swooning over the pajamas.

Since it is a widely honored tradition to receive a new pair of pajamas on Christmas morning-and since the holiday is merely a few weeks away, yikes!-we reasoned to put the spotlight on a PJ set we are dreaming to be presented with ourselves, Zoe writes on her blog.

Despite the fact that this outfit is intended for the boudoir, Zoe suggests translating it into chic street style.

Perhaps team the double-breasted top underneath a sharp blazer or swap in the sleek bottoms for your traditional trousers. If you can dream it, you can do it! she writes.

Sleepwear has recently been making a bold appearance on the red carpet.

Designer Rachel Roy was seen at the premiere of One Day wearing 100 percent Egyptian cotton, powder blue pinstriped 'jammies. She fancied-up the look with magenta lipstick, an oversize clutch and (of course) a pair of stunning Manolo Blahniks.

Roy explained why she chose to wear the sleepwear to such a public appearance. I have an 11-year-old and I like to show her that it's okay to take fashion risks and to have fun and tell a story with fashion, Roy told InStyle magazine. I tweeted this weekend that you can't have style without confidence and I really do genuinely believe that.

Others who have rocked nightwear on the red carpet include Stephanie Lacava and model Elisa Sednaoui.
