Larry King must have watched the Austin Powers film series too much, because it looks like he was inspired to be cryogenically frozen.
During a dinner party with celebrity guests, which aired on CNN Sunday, 78-year-old King talked about death and what he wants in store for himself.

"I want to be frozen on the hope that they'll find whatever I died of and bring me back," King said on "CNN Presents: A Larry King Special: Dinner with the Kings."
Celebrities like Conan O'Brien, Tyra Banks, Shaquille O'Neal, Seth MacFarlane, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, Quincy Jones and Russell Brand joined King and his wife, Shawn, for dinner at their Beverly Hills home.

With that A-list of a crowd, one would think it would be hard for the former CNN talk show host, who normally conducts stellar interviews, to become the focus of the show itself. But once King opened his mouth, the celebrities dropped theirs.

When Family Guy creator McFarlane asked whether or not King was "maybe a little obsessed with your own mortality, like I am?" King responded, yes.
"Oh, I fear death," King told the group. "My biggest fear is death, because I don't think I'm going anywhere. And since I don't think that, and I don't have a belief ... I'm married to someone who has the belief, so she knows she's going somewhere."
Conan O'Brien seemed shocked by the news but did not hesitate to poke fun.
"I just want to make sure that we stick with the headline here, which is that you wish to be frozen," O'Brien said.

In the meantime, Russell Brand went on a "panty raid" in the King's bedroom, stealing a pair of Shawn King's personals.
"Listen, two things just happened," O'Brien said. "You revealed you want your head chopped off and frozen, and Russell Brand went into your wife's room and stole your underwear. And now you're moving on with your prepared questions."
Larry King continued on and said he wishes to live forever, as one would suspect from a man who said he fears death and wants to be frozen.
"Yeah, you bet you're a-s," Larry King said about whether or not he wants to live forever.
King may just do that, or at least live quite a bit longer.
In 1987, King suffered from a heart attack which led to quintuple-bypass surgery, which inspired him to write a book entitled, "Mr. King, You're Having a Heart Attack: How a Heart Attack and Bypass Surgery Changed My Life" and "Taking On Heart Disease: Famous Personalities Recall How They Triumphed over the Nation's #1 Killer and How You Can, Too."
