SAG Awards 2012: Nominations Announced, ‘Bridesmaids’ Scores Big Nod

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award nominations for the 2012 ceremony have been announced and "Bridesmaids," everyone's favorite Kristin Wiig hit of the year, scored a big nod.

"Bridesmaids" was nominated for the FILM Best Ensemble Cast award, alongside "The Artist," "The Descendants," "The Help" and "Midnight in Paris."

Actress Melissa McCarthy was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress." McCarthy won her first Emmy in 2011 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on Mike & Molly.

"Boardwalk Empire" and "Breaking Bad" were amongst the major dramatic nominees for the 18th annual SAG Awards. Other TV favorites that got some recognition include "Modern Family," "The Office" and "30 Rock."

The 2012 SAG Awards will broadcast on Jan. 29 live on TNT and TBS.
