Photos: Coca-Cola Tops the List of Best Soft Drinks in 2011

Coca-Cola has topped the list of the best soft drinks in 2011, followed by Diet Coke and Pepsi, according to marketing research consultancy Milward Brown.

The list includes other popular soft drinks like Red Bull, Fanta, followed by Diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew.

The report suggests that soft drinks sector rose by 5 percent after careful analysis of brand value, contribution, momentum and value change.

In addition, data from BrandZ, Kantar Worldpanel and Bloomberg were also taken into consideration for the report.

Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO), the giant beverage maker, said on Tuesday that net income fell 71 percent in the fourth quarter on substantial restructuring charges, but increased beverage sales beat Wall Street expectations, and it announced a cost cutting plan to pay for rising commodity costs and bolster its brands.
