The Rose Bowl 2012 gets underway on Monday with the Oregon Ducks going head-to-head with the Wisconsin Badgers in Pasadena, Calif. The Rose Bowl game is being brought to fans by Vizio and kickoff time is 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.

In just a few hours football fans can watch the game after the 123rd Rose Parade, as it will be featured on television and also available via live streaming video feed. The 2012 Roses Parade can also be seen on television earlier in the day at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. ET), from Pasadena, Calif.

This year's theme is Just Imagine...

Viewers hoping to see the parade can watch the floats on ABC, HGTV, KTLA, NBC, RDF-TV and Univision. KTLA will also have a live feed and the KTLA stream of the parade is here.

Where to watch the Rose Bowl game

You can watch a live stream of the 98th Rose Bowl game via the ESPN3/WatchESPN sports website or listen the radio broadcast on ESPN Radio or XM Satellite Radio.

Monday's game is expected to be an intense one, as the Ducks and Badgers are looking for their first Bowl Championship Series victory when they meet at 2:10 p.m. PT in the 98th Rose Bowl.

Pac-12 champion Oregon (11-2) has won three consecutive conference titles. However, it lost its past two BCS games, 26-17 to Ohio State in the 2010 Rose Bowl and a 22-19 to Auburn in the national title game last year.

On the other hand, Wisconsin (11-2) won the Big Ten title for the second consecutive season. It lost 21-19 to Texas Christian last year.

According to the National Football Authority, the two teams have three players between them who were at some point during the season considered Heisman Trophy candidates. Those players are Oregon running back LaMichael James, Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson and Wisconsin running back Montee Ball.

The authority stated that the Ducks are bringing with them an offense averaging more than 46 points per game and an attack averaging nearly 300 yards per contest.

The Ducks struggled against the tough defenses of Auburn and LSU in the last couple years, according to the authority, which Web site stated that the Badgers' tough defense probably will not pose a problem.

Wisconsin, however, is bringing with them an 11-2 record, which is nearly undefeated, and the Badgers' physical defense is deceiving, according to the National Football Authority.

The San Bernardino Sun reported that neither Oregon coach Chip Kelly nor Wisconsin's Bret Bielema believe they need to win on Monday in order to forge their personal legacy.

At the end of the day, it's not, 'Hey, we won when we got there the third time,' Kelly told The Sun. It's just we did a good job on Monday, and that's what we're looking to do.

Bielema said, I think on the perimeter (we just have) to make sure that we can tackle their skill.
