Tablets Will Replace Computers, says Poll

A recent poll with a small sample size says that tablets could replace computers in the near future.

Of 1,155 Americans polled by Poll Position, 46 per cent thought that tablets will take over laptops.

As many as 53 per cent of males and 39 per cent of females participating in the poll voted in favour of tablets.

According to the poll, 49 per cent of younger Americans in the 18-29 age-group do not think tablets will replace personal computers, while 37 per cent said tablets will substitute laptops and 15 per cent did not offer an opinion.

The poll results were classified based on age, race, gender and party.
