T-Mobile has a couple of deals right now on new Microsoft powered smartphones, and the Nokia Lumia 710 and HTC Radar 4G are both $50 if you meet the requirements. First, the prices are dependent on buying a new two-year contract, but that is usually the case for on-contract devices. The new Nokia Lumia 710 is $50 after a mail-in rebate, so if you go buy one, you'll have to throw down $100 and wait for the rebate. For the HTC Radar 4G, it's $100 online, but if you trade in your old smartphone, it could go down to $50. There is a form you have to fill out on the T-Mobile Web site that determines how much T-Mobile will buy your old phone for.

Nokia's Lumia 710 is the one of the newest phones T-Mobile offers, and for $50 it's a good option. That's because it offers a solid Nokia build, 3.7-inch 800x480p resolution touchscreen, eight gigabytes of internal storage and 512 megabytes of memory. Nokia includes the amazing Drive app that gives turn by turn instructions and is one of the best manufacturer included apps on any smartphone. The Windows Phone system gives you access to your Xbox Live account and the SkyDrive cloud-based storage system.

HTC's Radar 4G has the classic HTC aluminum body, eight gigabytes of storage, 1,520 mAh battery, 3.8-inch screen, front-facing camera and access to T-Mobile's high-speed data network. Both devices run the Windows Phone system, and one of its best features is easy integration with Microsoft Office. So if you plan on using your phone for any documents work, the Windows Phone system is a good choice. If you're considering between these two phones, just remember the Lumia 710 has no front-facing camera. It's also a bit lighter than the Radar 4G. Be sure to test out both devices at the store because they have very different feels (an aluminum body feels much different than a plastic one). If you get the discount deal on the Radar 4G, then it's a good buy. If not, go ahead and save yourself $50 and grab the Lumia 710. Tell us in the comments if you're a T-Mobile customer and if you've checked out either phone.
