Halle Berry Tells Ex to Stay Away: 6 Other Heated Celebrity Custody Battles [PHOTOS]

Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, are in a heated court battle after the family's nanny filed charges of battery and child endangerment.

TMZ reports the court judgment will be decided on Monday when the appropriate judge returns from vacation. At this time, no immediate emergency order has been requested for either side.

According to TMZ, the court battle began when Aubry physically assaulted the couple's three-year-old daughter, Nahla, and her nanny, Alliance Kamdem, after Aubry decided not to take his daughter to school. When the nanny, who works for both parents, went to pick up Nahla, she discovered the girl had not been to school.

Kamden then drove to Aubry's home where she asked him why he had not taken Nahla to school. In response, he allegedly cursed at her - using racial slurs - and pushed her out his door while she was holding Nahla. The nanny quickly filed a police report.

The police report, according to TMZ,  claims Aubry said, ""You're the f**king nanny. Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. You don't need to f**king know anything."

An "emergency hearing" was called following the alleged assault and E! reports the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services visited Berry's home on Wednesday.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married in 2004. Spears gave birth to her first child, Sean Preston Federline, in 2005 and her second child, Jayden James Federline, was born in 2006. A few months after Jayden’s birth, Spears filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2007. The couple agreed to have joint custody of their children, but when Spears checked into a drug rehabilitation center and had a public meltdown, Federline received full custody of the children in October 2007. Spears, however, refused to give up custody of her sons and appeared at Federline’s home in January 2008. She was committed to a psychiatric ward and her father, Jamie, gained control of her finances. She was released a month later. Since then the pop star has made major life changes and she has regained joint custody of her children.

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva were seen together on the red carpet in April 2009, only two weeks after the actor had filed from divorce from his wife of 28 years, Robyn. The Grigorieva gave birth to Gibson’s daughter, Lucia, in October 2009. In 2010, the couple publicly split and Grigorieva filed for a restraining order to keep him away from her and their child. She claimed Gibson had used physical violence against her. Gibson also received a restraining order against Grigorieva in June of that year and accused Grigorieva of extortion.

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards met on the set of “Good Advice” in 2000 and married two years later. The couple had two girls together, Sam and Lola Sheen. In March 2005, Richards filed for divorce, claiming Sheen had substance abuse problems and had made threats of violence towards her. She also claimed he was addicted to gambling, porn, prostitutes and prescription drugs. Sheen denied the allegations. The divorce was finalized in November 2006, but the couple entered a heated custody battle. Richards filed court papers in 2007 requesting that her children not be left alone with Sheen. In 2008, Sheen attacked Richards for allowing his daughters to be on her show. The former celebrity duo reached a custody agreement in 2008, but the details have not been publicly disclosed.

Woody Allen and Mia Farrow first began dating around 1980. Although the pair never married, they adopted two children, Dylan Farrow and Moshe Farrow. The couple also had one biological child, Satchel Farrow. Farrow had other adopted children, including Soon-Yi Farrow Previn. In 1992, tabloids exploded with rumors that Woody Allen was having an affair with Farrow’s adopted daughter. When Farrow found nude pictures of the 20-year-old Soon-Yi in Allen’s apartment, she broke up with the director. When the pair separated, a heated public custody battle for their three children began. Farrow filed charges, claiming Allen had molested their 7-year-old daughter Dylan. Although the judge found the charges unsubstantiated, he called Allen’s conduct “grossly inappropriate” and Farrow won custody of their children. Marlon Brando and actress Anna Kashfi were married in 1957. The couple had a son Christian Brando on May 11, 1958, but then divorced in 1959. The former couple had a heated custody battle. Brando sought to increase his visitation rights for his 3-year-old son in 1961. When he was granted temporary custody, Kashfi publicly slapped Brando across the face outside the courtroom. The couple’s son was ultimately sent to live on a farm with Brando’s sister for six months as the pair cooled down.
