Blue Ivy Carter must truly be the luckiest baby in the world. Not only is she the first child of music moguls Beyonce and Jay-Z, but reports are that the couple chose Oprah Winfrey to be her godmother.
MediaTakeOut is reporting that it received information to that effect from an "extremely reliable insider." The urban gossip Web site also reports that Jay-Z's best friend Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith will be the godfather.
"Word is that Oprah has become a close personal friend to both Jay and Bey. And the pair wanted to give the "godparents" role to people not already related to them by family," MediaTakeOut reports.
According to the Huffington Post, Oprah sent a trunk full of books as a baby present for little Blue Ivy.
