Fran Drescher believes she was abducted by aliens and told the Huffington Post that she and her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson had alien experiences and that the two have similar scars where the aliens placed chips.

You know, it's funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads, Drescher reportedly seriously told The Huffington Post. We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot.

Jacobson is a little more skeptical about the incident and wasn't so sold on an extraterrestrial past. In fact, Jacobson said his ex-wife got the small scar on her hand from a drill bit or burning herself holding a hot cup of water.

But Drescher, 53, disputes that.

I said to him, that's what the aliens programmed us to think, she said. But really, that's where the chip is.

Drescher is the star of TV Land series Happily Divorced, which was renewed for a second season in July. The show has averaged over 2.2 million total viewers, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com. The actress plays a Los Angeles florist forced to return to the dating game after finding out her husband of 18 years is gay. Neither can afford to move and are stuck living with each other.

In real life, Drescher was married to Jacobson for 21 years before he came out of the closet after the couple divorced in 1999, according to reports.

OnTheRedCarpet reported that Jacobson and Drescher co-created the series and also worked together on The Nanny and Living With Fran.
