Bargnani Has No Significant Damage to Left Calf

The struggling Toronto Raptors were dealt another blow as Andrea Bargnani will be sidelined indefinitely with a strained left calf.

Bargnani aggravated his calf in the first overtime of the Raptors' 111-106 double-overtime win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.

According to Raptors' play-by-play broadcaster Matt Devlin, Thursday tests revealed no significant damage to Bargnani's calf.

The 26-year-old big man is averaging a team-high 23.5 points a game, and is shooting 47.6 percent from the field, and 84.3 percent from the free throw line. Bargnani is also averaging 6.4 rebounds per game.

Toronto has a 6-13 record, and are last in the Atlantic Division.

The Raptors travel to Denver Nuggets on Friday night at the Pepsi Center.
