Josh Harvey-Clemons, the No. 31 player in the country according to Rivals.com, signed a letter of intent with Georgia on Wednesday over offers from Florida and Florida State.

Florida State had made a strong late push for the talented linebacker, but Harvey-Clemons decided to stay home and go with the Georgia Bulldogs.

(The Bulldogs) seem like they want to win and contend for a (national) championship, Harvey-Clemons said during his live announcement on ESPNU.

Harvey-Clemons is a huge win for coach Mark Richt over its SEC rival Florida. He becomes the second five-star prospect to sign with Georgia -- offensive lineman John Theus is the other -- and should push Georgia up in Rivals.com's team rankings.
