Melanie Iglesias wants to be your Valentine.

Melanie Iglesias, a New York-native and winner of Maxim's "Hometown Hottie" in 2010, has tempted fans with a Valentine 's Day contest. On Wednesday the brunette beauty tweeted to her 83,000-plus followers "Is anyone still without a Valentine? Let me know!"

Over the next couple of days, Iglesias will pick 10 people to send Valentine's to, including flowers, cards and candy. She instructed her Twitter fans to do the following: "If you want me to send you a valentine, make up a cute or funny tweet in form of a poem or haiku and hashtag #beminemelanieiglesias." She will announce the first two winners Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. EST.

The hashtag #beminemelanieiglesias began trending worldwide Wednesday afternoon as fans tweeted furiously to the beautiful Iglesias.

Some tweeted raps like: "Youre trending world wide, us fans? We're a loyal bunch/Your poker days are over, but to me youre still a Royal Flush." Another wrote, "I heard nothing lasts forever so I emailed http://dictionary.com repeatedly begging to define you as my nothing <3." Others kept it simple: "roses are red, violets are blue, melanie is gorgeous... and thats all i gotta say."

After her Maxim debut, Melanie Iglesias became an overnight sensation. She was formerly a Royal Flush girl, a model/hostess at the World Poker Tournament. From that poker-playing fan base she developed quite a following amongst young males.

Now, Iglesias is ready to make one young gentleman's Valentine's Day very special.
