The World Institute of Pain's (WIP) 6th World Congress is being held, from Feb. 4 to Feb. 6, in Florida, U.S. The three-day event was started in 1993 and has run uninterrupted for 19 years.
The Institute's prime focus is making the event a participant-friendly occasion, as well as promoting educational activities and "hands-on" courses. All of these, the institute claims, have led to the development of novel interventional techniques for the management of pain.
In addition, the event also keeps itself updated on the newest techniques and is often a breeding ground for more improvements in therapeutic studies. The event promises to provide a wide platform to help leading professionals from around the world share experiences.
