1. NFC - iPhone 5 Rumors Roundup Update: From Specs to Release Date and Everything Else in Between
Do you dream of making mobile payment transactions with your iPhone? If yes, your dream might be realized soon.
According to MacRumors, the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology will be packed in the upcoming iPhone 5.
More specifically, Mastercard might partner with Apple for iPhone 5's NFC payment system.
The tech giant has shown its interest in NFC for some time. As early as March 2011, Apple was considering packing the technology into future iPhone, according to the New York Times.
MastercCrd's Ed McLaughlin has spoken to Fast Company, hinting that iPhone 5 will be the lucky one to include the NFC payment system. However, he did not mention the name of Apple even once, since he said MasterCard’s partners had asked the company to not disclose their names.
"Um, there are...like I say, [I don't know of] any handset maker out there," McLaughlin says. "Now, when we have discussions with our partners, and they ask us not to disclose them, we don't." McLaughlin said.
Meanwhile, at least one developer told 9to5Mac that they heard Apple iOS engineers hint that the tech giant is leaning "heavy into NFC".

Based on these clues, the Appera has suggested the iPhone might also avail of shared data plans.

However, the rumor isn't new. "The small airbags are designed to inflate in a split second when the accelerometer senses a drop-like movement. However, help is at hand. According to Today’s iPhone, which cited a reliable source, the next generation iPhone will feature a waterproof technology.
The mobile device nano-coating system is made by Liquipel, a California-based company, which covers the phones inside and outside to make it water repellent, i.e., the phone will be able to withstand liquid- or moisture-related damage.
