Tom Brady Super Bowl 2012 Loss Photos: Patriots Quarterback Crushed After Losing to Giants
Tom Brady's Super Bowl 2012 loss crushed the Patriots quarterback, as it is his second time losing to rival Eli Manning's New York Giants on football's biggest stage.
Tom Brady walked off the field sullen and downtrodden after his New England Patriots came up short against the Giants, losing the epic contest by a score of 21-17.
As confetti rained down on the stadium and Manning and his Giants celebrated their win with big hugs, smiles and whoops of joy, Brady could be seen with his head bowed as he made his way to the Patriots' locker room.
Tom Brady's Super Bowl 2012 loss won't keep him from making it into the NFL Hall of Fame as one of the sport's all-time greats, but he will have the distinction of having lost two Super Bowls by slim margins to Manning and the Giants. As a TV announcer said before the game, Tom Brady was hoping to keep any "buts" from remaining on his record, but it looks like he will always be known as one of football's elite quarterbacks, but he couldn't seem to beat Eli in the Super Bowl in 2008 or 2012 no matter how hard he tried.
Patriots fans from Boston to Indianapolis were also crestfallen by seeing their team lose to Big Blue for a second time in the Super Bowl, and many fought back tears at seeing their beloved quarterback crushed by the epic loss.
Tom Brady's biggest fan, his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, was also disappointed after the loss, and she made her views known in crass style.
After the game ended, Gisele Bundchen rushed to her husband and consoled him as they left Lucas Oil Stadium. As Bundchen walked to the stadium's elevator, Giants fans reportedly taunted her about the Patriots' loss, according to Yahoo! Sports. She was reportedly very distraught, and retorted with a sneering reply:
"I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," she reportedly told the fans. "My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."
Despite the crushing blow to Tom Brady's ego, the power couple do have a stunning house to relax in during the off-season with their 21-month-old son Benjamin. They recently moved into a $20 million, 22,000-square-feet mega-mansion in Brentwood, Calif.
