Paul Weller's eldest son Natt has branded the children of some stars monsters and drama queens.

The 23-year-old rocker insists that unlike other "pampered" celebrity kids, he owes nothing to his father success.

He told the Evening Standard: "If you want something you have to work for it. I've met some other kids and they are really f****d up by drinking and partying. I look at some people and think, 'I got off lucky'."

He has lined up a deal with Universal Music and is currently recording his studio album claims that his 53-year-old father's working class roots helped him keep grounded despite the fame.

He said: "I can't name names but some of them are monsters. I was talking to one at a party recently and she started talking about her chef. I was like, 'What are you talking about? I don't have a chef'.

"I've done stuff and I've had a different life from most people but I'm not one of these attention-seeking, vacuous drama queens."
