Jennifer Aniston turns 43 on Saturday, and it seems as if she couldn't have asked for a better year.

The actress starred in two hit films, had some mega real estate success, and found a hunky new boyfriend in actor, director and writer Justin Theroux.

Let's start off with her real estate ventures.

Aniston recently purchased a $21 million home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Bel Air, TMZ reported. She sold her Beverly Hills mansion in 2011 and she had been living in a much smaller Hollywood Hills home with Theroux since then, according to a Daily Mail report.

Frankly, her new digs are a whole lot nicer than her old mansion, with plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows to let in natural lighting and take in the gorgeous outdoor views.

Aniston also purchased an apartment in New York City. She shelled out $8.7 million for the 50 Gramercy Park North apartment, according to a Business Insider report. One of the place's perks is a great view -- and a key -- to the private Gramercy Park.

In terms of career, Aniston had major roles in two hit comedies in 2011.

One was as the friend - and later, romantic interest - to Adam Sandler's character in the film "Just Go With It." Aniston played a single mom who Sandler's character uses to impress a hot new girlfriend, played by Brooklyn Decker.

The second film was the smash hit "Horrible Bosses," in which she played the unrelentingly sexually explicit boss to Charlie Day's miserable character. She received rave reviews for her performance, not to mention many laughs for a particular popsicle, hot dog and banana-eating scene.

Speaking of eating healthily, Aniston is in great shape.

In late January, she, along with model Gisele Bundchen and Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, was voted as having one of the most sought after body types, according to a report in The Daily Telegraph.

Her toned, age-defying body never fails to gain attention, not to mention envy.

She talked to InStyle magazine, for which she graces the cover of the March issue, about feeling young: "You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think, Aren't we kind of the same age? I don't feel my age. I feel young every day."

In terms of style, Aniston rarely fails to impress on the red carpet. Her style has certainly become more daring in recent years, but she admitted to InStyle that she tends to play it safe.
